You may ask, How is that possible to gain 
3 years of experience in just 3 months?

Well, it's quite simple if you try to understand.  When you are working, you are obviously expected to perform certain duties. That is the reason you are being paid.  Now, you do not have the freedom to just experiment and learn all the time. You will gain on-the-job experience, but it is limited. it takes time.  Considering that you can't just do what you want in a job, it can take a year or  more to learn what we are going to give you in just 1 month.  

FACT:  What we give you in 3 months will take you over 3 years to gain on your own. Feel free to argue this point with me anytime. I will prove it to you in less than 5 minutes. 

FACT:  If you try to ask your colleagues for help, most technicians do NOT want to reveal what they know. Why should they ? maybe it's because it was very hard for them to learn what they know and they don't want to give it up so easily. 

It's like the guy who tries to cut in front of the long line of cars waiting in traffic. You think they'll just let him in ?

"Learn it the hard way like we did !" 
That's everyone's attitude. (well almost everyone !)
